What is Youth Services?

The Los Angeles Unified School District Youth Services After-school Playground Program provides supervised, recreational, and educational activities in a safe, approved environment for students.

The middle school after school program is specially designed to serve students in grades 6-8. This is not a child-care program.

Who is eligible to Participate?

The Youth Services Program is primarily intended to meet the enrichment and recreational needs of the middle school students who can function independently and cooperatively.

All students are welcome. However, participation in the Youth Services Program is a privilege. Students must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with the rules and regulations of the school and playground.
